I’m Richard Hayes – part designer, part traveller, full-time believer that life’s better when you mix a bit of both.
By day, I build websites, shape brands, and explore how AI can make technology smarter (and a little more human). When I’m not doing that, you’ll usually find me somewhere in New Zealand – skiing mountains, chasing backroads, and finding the places you only discover when you go a little off track.

Beyond the screen, I’ve spent more than 40 years skiing New Zealand’s mountains, exploring its coastline, and finding the kind of places guidebooks forget to mention.
I write about real travel – the kind that comes with wet socks, big views, and a few good stories to take home.
